Newspaper collection

After finishing the flyers, it was time to get on with newspaper collection. The turnout for today was much better MB>MC, now we have 20 people compared to 7 in the past. It was quite a nice, fair day to perfom newspaper collection. Most people from the blocks we went to were either empty or have gone out, it was qutie futile effort. Fortunately things got better after we had a hearty lunch of Botak Jones, where else? We had the life of "a day as a Karang Guni man". We had the classic 2 wheeled trolley where he stores his things and moves from floor to floor. It was quite exhausting as lifts serve to certain floors only, now we understand why they allow us to work at these few blocks.

After work, me, steph, desmond and Kok went off to Vivo first to have dinner at Marche. It wasnt very nice but expensive. Since vivo was packed to the brim, we headed to The Cathy to catch Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

The show was not too bad, but if you have watched white castle, it is not as good as the first movie. The show is rated M18, which I thought should be rated as R21 since the male and female's body parts can seen on the big screen. It is humourous in the dirty way, so those girls who claim to be "innocent" will not really enjoy the show but for the guys, you should go for this.

I would still give 4 stars for this show.

After the movie, we had a nice ben and jerry's ice-cream shared among the 4 of us before heading home to rest.

End of exams, time to mambo!

May 7, the days most RE students have been waiting for. The exam was not bad, everything he said came out, ya it turned out pretty well. However, our post-exams activities is not as planned as our K-lunch turned out to be flyer giving out day. Eugene Ang, Lee, Zj, Caderam, Kelly and Henry went to the preallocated blocks to distribute flyers wearing very nice clothes. Thanks ah caderam hehe.

After finishing distributing flyers finally, we went for Swensons, that is more like celebration, lol. We had the students meal at $9.80 for 2. After a nice desert, we went back home to prepare ourselves for Mambo. We changed to our fresh new clothes and met up with Ben, Kok, Steph, Cad, Kelly and Eugene Lee to start partying. Before heading to the dance floor, I got to know great people like Steph's friends (Tyler, Marcus, Michelle, bowling peeps) and Kelly's friends (Gek Theng- someone who knows my dark secrets??). We played Chai Quan- I was tricked by Kok a few times. After having a few rounds of alcohol,(AK-47 is very very bad) we headed to the dance floor.

The first barrage of music was pretty bad, even the Mambo experts on Mambo couldnt groove tonight. haha but after a few, the best mambo songs started playing such as dancing queen, square room, night fever etc too many to mention all of them. I had a real good time dancing esp after the uni exams. To end off, MAMBO rox~!

The last week of exams has finally arrived, I am sure most of us are anicipating this moment. We should all put all our efforts into finishing the exams, remembering to keep our body in check also. "an apple a day keeps a doctor away" we should eat more fruits and drink more water. Good luck to all~!
